Why start planning? How can that help your health and wellbeing? As you adjust to your new surroundings and all the energy and resilience they will require of you, there are still many aspects of your day that you will need to be ready for, but also many activities that you will have to prioritize. Planning ahead so that you an idea of how you can structure your day and what you need to spend your time on will mean you won’t have to worry so much about getting through everything on your agenda, you won’t have to spend so much energy wondering what comes next, and – most importantly – you are less likely to forget something important!

With all the things you will have to remember in your first week abroad, it can be good to make a list. This will help you to understand what you need to do for each item, reduce the stress involved in getting through everything you need, and help you to organise your time and energy in advance. Complete the template provided here to help you track all the more important activities in your first week abroad.
