Introduction to hero's journey

Study abroad is like going on an adventure, a quest. Your journey required you to leave your comfort zone, seek guidance from experts, face and overcome challenges, all of which meant you returned home a changed person.

The hero's journey is a storytelling technique that provides a narrative involving a hero who goes on an adventure. This narrative puts you (as a hero) in the middle of your own quest and will help you to divide your own experience into different chapters of your adventure.

Following the steps of this storytelling method, you will recognizing that you returned from your experience with a gift; the added value of study abroad!
